Useful things to send
- Corrections. Wrong spec, wrong price, wrong year, wrong link. Please include the article URL and what specifically is wrong, with a source where possible.
- Hands-on notes. If you actually own a laptop we've written about (or one we should), short notes from real use are more valuable than spec sheets.
- Suggestions for what to cover. A model we missed, a question that keeps coming up, a comparison worth doing.
- Factual disputes. If a claim in an article doesn't match what you've seen, say so. We'll investigate and append a correction at the bottom of the article rather than silently editing.
Affiliate and sponsorship
We're open to affiliate-link partnerships and sponsored relationships under one non-negotiable condition: editorial decisions stay with the author, not the partner.
- Article content stays independent. Ratings, recommendations, and verdicts are written based on the author's own research and personal use. A sponsor cannot edit, approve, or veto an article.
- Sponsorship does not buy a positive review. If we test a sponsor's product and find it lacking, the article will say so. Partners who can't accept that should not work with us.
- All affiliate links and sponsored relationships are disclosed in plain language, in the article they appear in — not buried in a site-wide footer.
